BRECON WHISKEY
PROJECT BRIEF: This project required us to make a high-end marketing video for Brecon Whiskey that showcased the product’s Welsh heritage. Naturally we chose the Brecon Beacons and Vale of Neath waterfalls for the beautiful visuals they offer.
With this video we wanted to keep things simple and let the landscape stand out. For this shoot we had a crew of only five people and visited some very remote locations in order to get spectacular visuals.
The locations we filmed presented certain difficulties that we had to overcome in order to finish the project. The weather was variable, terrain was often steep and slippery, and it was sometimes difficult to maintain crew safety and the condition of our equipment.
For this project we had to write a script, storyboard our ideas and scout locations before filming and editing. We also composed our own music and had the lyrics translated into Welsh before recording it in our own studio.
