NPTC GROUP OF COLLEGES AWARDS
PROJECT BRIEF: For this video we were asked to film NPTC Group of Colleges annual student awards to help them celebrate the best of their students’ achievements.
The event included a drinks reception, the awards ceremony and performances by the Ospreys Choir and Jake Quickenden. On the night organisation was essential in allowing us to capture all of the footage we wanted. From exterior shots to presentations and interviews, we carefully planned our every move to show the event in the best light. Over the course of the evening we also interviewed the award winners who received multiple honours, as well the college CEO Mark Dacey.
When it came to the editing process, we wanted to make the video dynamic and engaging. We chose upbeat music that would complement the moving shots and fast edits, but was also suitable for the interviews at the end. The end result is video that commemorates student achievements and emphasises the strong relationship between the students and their tutors across the NPTC Group.
